The Assistive Technology Collection is part of the Kalikow Curriculum Materials Center, located on the first floor of the Education Center. We are continually adding resources to our collection.
The Kalikow Curriculum Materials Center Assistive Technology Collection is a resource offered free to UMF students, faculty, and staff, and to professionals in the community, individuals with disabilities, and their families. The Assistive Technology Collection provides a place to view assistive technology (AT) devices, to receive instruction in the use and evaluation of the equipment, and to obtain information about AT in general. Many of the items may be signed out for use at home or in a school or therapeutic setting.
During the academic year, the Kalikow Curriculum Materials Center is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours during school vacations and summer may vary . please call the front desk (778-7895) for details.
